Located on the 56th floor of the Palms, Alizé has breathtaking views as well as delicious food. Headed by world-class chef Andre Rochat, Alizé is named after the gentle trade winds that sweep the French Caribbean Islands. This upscale French restaurant is quiet and romantic, not at all like the busy and upbeat hotel lobby that lies below. From the moment you step out of the elevator, you will feel like you’ve been somehow transported to a much more elegant and romantic hotel. In addition to the spectacular view, Alizé’s two-story wine cellar is a sight to behold. The focal point of the dining room, it houses over 1,700 selections and more than 7,500 bottles in inventory. The crown jewel of Rochat’s three restaurants, Alizé offers world-class French cuisine that has earned countless accolades from the Michelin Restaurant Guide, Conde Nast Traveler Magazine, and many other trsuted critics. Alizé offers delicious warm and cold appetizers, soups, salads, fish entrees and meat entrees, and decadent desserts. Five and Seven-course Chef’s Tasting Menus are available with wine pairings as well. Though the prices are a little steeper than other restaurants, the quality is well worth it. And with the friendly and welcoming staff, you’ll feel well-taken care of at this high-class eatery. And if you’re willing to pay a little extra, add the $55 wine pairing to your meal. Each item will come to your table with a presentation on what the dish is and how it is made, which is really fascinating by itself before even taking a bite. The sommelier will explain your wine to you as you are offered each tasting and tell you why it was hand selected for the-dish you are about to eat. Dinners at Alizé are like experiencing a full-production show performed just for you with the lights of Vegas surrounding you as you eat. |
